About Me

From a Dreamer in a Small Town to a Curator of the Gangnam Life.

Hi, my name is Elizabeth. My journey to the heart of Seoul began in a small, quiet city of 200,000 people. As a young girl who loved reading, writing, and the rhythm of the English language, Seoul was more than just a capital to me. It was a world of longing, a glittering destination I dreamed of one day calling “home.”

The Marketer Who Found Her Soul in Seoul When I finally moved to Seoul for university, the city didn’t disappoint. I fell head over heels for its vibrant energy. After years of working as an International Brand Marketer, I developed a sharp eye for trends and a deep appreciation for the “fine” things in life. I moved from being a student who admired the city from afar to a professional who truly savored its decent dining, hidden bars, and sophisticated art scene.

The Mom Chapter:

A Choice of Love I grew up as the proud daughter of a strong, independent working mom. While her strength shaped who I am, I also remember the quiet moments of longing for her presence. That’s why, when I had my own children, I made a conscious choice to pause my career. For my 7 and 4-year-olds, I wanted to be the mother I once missed.

The Renaissance: Rediscovering “Me”

Now, as my children grow and start to find their own independence, I am rediscovering mine. “Motherhood” is a value I hold dear, but I’ve realized that my own life and my own voice are just as important. I am ready to return to what I do best which is curating and storytelling.

Why “The Gangnam Edit (TGE)?”

To me, Gangnam is a fascinating mix of sharp modernity and classic elegance. Living here as a mom has shown me a side of the city that most tourists and even many locals never see.

I’m not just sharing fancy places; I’m sharing the perspective of a woman who chased her dream of a “Seoul Life” and turned it into a reality. From the most exclusive dining spots to the most aesthetic family-friendly galleries, I’m here to guide you through the refined, authentic, and insiders’ Seoul.

I was once that girl dreaming of the city lights. Now, I’m here to show you how they shine the brightest.

Welcome to my Seoul. Welcome to The Gangnam Edit.
